Kesha: "No One Can Ever Truly Own You"

From ELLE

In the months since a Manhattan Supreme Court judge ruled that Kesha would have to stay under contract with Sony and Dr. Luke, the man she accused of sexually and emotionally abusing her, Kesha has released a song, given a statement performance at the Billboard Music Awards, and is now on tour. Her legal battle is not over, but last night, Kesha gave an update on how she's doing.

"No one can ever truly own you because to own you would mean that someone else owns your happiness," she captioned one of her three Instagram posts. "And no other person can take that from you. Your happiness is the best revenge. Stay happy in the midst of hell. Or. At least try. And know that you are not alone."

Kesha's tour is small but ongoing until October (and what's next, time will tell).
