Kern County Law Day at Beale Memorial Library

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Members of the community got the chance to meet with lawyers to answer their legal questions for free on Thursday.

On May 2, The Kern County Bar Association hosted Kern County Law Day at Beale Memorial Library. Lawyers and representatives from legal organizations answered questions on a variety of legal topics, such as probation, conservatorship, family and civil law, guardianship and unlawful detainment.

“I think that people get a lot out of it because, again, there’s no risk in the conversations. Just seeking out information on these topics and it’s something that’s I think both beneficial for the participants and for the volunteers that give the info,” said Evan Moran, with the Kern County Law Library.

The Kern County Law Library is always available with free and up-to-date legal resources.
