While you were busy freaking out over Beyonce's pregnant belly, Kelly Rowland was busy writing and promoting a book (it came out yesterday!) called Whoa, Baby!, which she wrote with her very own ob/gyn Dr. Tristan Brickman. It's about, you guessed it, being a mom. And as a part of promoting the book, she spoke to USA Today about some crucial mom body truths. Namely, a truth about your vagina.

"Your vajayjay does not look the same for a very long time," she said. "But, I care about it. We go to get it all done up and trimmed and waxed and this and that and it's all swollen and crazy and you're just wondering what just happened."

Good PSA!

Rowland, who gave birth to her son Titan in fall 2014, also spoke out about grappling with her post-baby bod. "I just saw a cover that I did for Shape and then I'm looking in the mirror going, 'Oh my god, this is not the same body. How did this happen?'" She said. "And I had to just keep reminding myself that, 'You had a baby, Kel.' But I was hard on myself. I really was."

That message is an important one for women to hear, as women are often inundated with stories about how to lose the baby weight ASAP, or how they're supposed to just magically be OK with all the visible - and, uh, less visible - changes that happen to their bodies.

Rowland has inadvertently become another celeb ambassador for embracing your changing body, mom bod or not. In fact, she recently shared an Instagram photo of her stretch marks, complete with a quote from Kendrick Lamar's song "Humble."

Kelly Rowland: once known as your second favorite Destiny's Child member, now recognized as a champion of loving your post-birth body.
