Kanye West Retweeted Videos of Scott Adams
If you've felt a slight shift in the earth's atmosphere these past few weeks, it's probably due to Kanye West's cacophonous return to Twitter. Since the fateful day he came back to the social media platform, he's announced new albums, shared fashion designs, and is apparently writing a philosophy book through a series of tweets.
But most recently, West has taken to retweeting a series of video clips by none other than cartoonist Scott Adams:

Adams, who's behind the cartoon Dilbert, created a 22-minute Periscope about how 'Kanye showed the way to The Golden Age.' In the video, Adams claims that West's previous tweet about Candace Owens 'altered reality.'

I love the way Candace Owens thinks

On Saturday, West tweeted that he loves 'the way Candace Owens thinks,' leaving a number of his supporters confused. Owens is a conservative commentator who has spoken out against Black Lives Matter and has been quoted as saying, 'Police brutality is not an issue that is facing the black community whatsoever.' In his video, Adams attempts to make the point that because West tweeted support for Owens, he 'unlocked a mental prison' since the two are supposed to be on two different ends of a spectrum. Kanye responded, seemingly, in support:
new ideas will no longer be condemned by the masses. We are on the frontier of massive change. Starting from breaking out of our mental prisons.

However, this isn't Adams first foray into politics and theory. In the past, Adams has been a vocal supporter of President Donald Trump and wrote on his blog, 'Presidents don’t need to understand policy minutia. They need to listen to experts and then help sell the best expert solutions to the public. Trump sells better than anyone you have ever seen, even if you haven’t personally bought into him yet. You can’t deny his persuasion talents that have gotten him this far.'
He's also previously written about men's rights activists and in a deleted-then-reposted blog said, 'The reality is that women are treated differently by society for exactly the same reason that children and the mentally handicapped are treated differently. It’s just easier this way for everyone. You don’t argue with a four-year old about why he shouldn’t eat candy for dinner. You don’t punch a mentally handicapped guy even if he punches you first. And you don’t argue when a women tells you she’s only making 80 cents to your dollar. It’s the path of least resistance. You save your energy for more important battles.'
Since West showed support for Adams, a number of other right-wing writers and personalities have tweeted their support:

Now the only question really is-just kidding, there are about 100 questions-what will West possibly tweet about tomorrow?
