Kaley Cuoco and Gwen Stefani Stun in Shades of Blue at the 2017 People’s Choice Awards

Kaley Cuoco didn’t walk the red carpet at the 2017 People’s Choice Awards on Wednesday night in Los Angeles. However, she still managed to steal the show with her stunning purple gown from designer Lela Rose‘s resort 2017 collection.

The feminine gown featured ruffle detailing on the bodice, a tiered skirt, and a square spaghetti-strapped neckline. The star appeared to love her wardrobe, as she posted a video of herself on her Instagram channel twirling in the gown and showing off the flounces in the back.

The 31-year-old appeared to have a wardrobe mishap before the show. She posted a slow-motion video of herself pretending to attack her stylists, Brad Goreski of E!’s Fashion Police, and Daniela Viviana Romero.

She captioned the video, “When @bradgoreski and @daniela_viviana bring me the wrong shoes….”

The actress ended up wearing a pair of bright pink platform sandals, which popped against the purple hue of her gown. It’s a far cry from last year’s People Choice Awards, when she walked the red carpet in Dior sneakers.

She showed off her look when she took the stage alongside her Big Bang Theory castmates to accept the award for Favorite Network TV Comedy. In the acceptance speech, the star added, “Thank you guys so much! It means the world to us that after 10 seasons that you still vote for us. We cannot tell you what that means to the people on this stage.”

Cuoco wasn’t the only star with a winning look last night, as singer Gwen Stefani also opted for an indigo-shaded ensemble. The 47-year-old wore a risqué lingerie-inspired two-piece tulle set.

She paired the bold bra top and matching skirt set from designer Reem Acra‘s spring 2017 ready-to-wear collection with a pair of black fishnet tights. Her patent pumps completed the look.

Stefani was in attendance to support her boyfriend of more than a year, country singer Blake Shelton, who performed at the show and accepted awards for Favorite Male Country Artist and Favorite Album.

During Shelton’s acceptance speech, he thanked Stefani, calling her the “hottest date here tonight.”
