Journal & Courier's print edition begins arriving by mail on Monday

LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Monday's edition of the Journal & Courier marks a transition for the newspaper and for our customers who faithfully read our printed edition.

Customers will find their printed edition of the J&C in their U.S. mail at their homes starting Monday, as we reported on March 20. We'll still have our e-edition online in the morning and the newspaper's website, jconline.com, and its app will continue to bring you the news in a manner quick and more timely than the print edition.

Each day's edition should arrive in the same day's mail. Sunday's papers will arrive in Saturday's mail deliveries.

The Journal & Courier newspaper delivery will begin arriving in customers via the U.S. Postal Service starting Monday, April 22. The move is to optimize resources amidst increasing digital readership demand.

Rest assured, the printed edition will continue, but the round-the-clock online news cycle has made digital products the first choice for breaking-news, and print subscribers are increasingly engaging digitally.

Therefore, the Journal & Courier will put renewed emphasis on the printed newspaper as a place readers can dive into local news with more impact and context, feel-good community features, sports analysis and commentary — the stories you can’t get anywhere else.

As with any new venture, there might be some bugs to be worked out in the new delivery system. If subscribers have questions or concerns, please let us know by visiting help.jconline.com/contact-us.
