If you’ve ever shipped TV characters hard, it’s only natural that you’d want them to be together in real life, too. And when it happens, it’s just so good. Take: Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys on The Americans, Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer on True Blood, Mila and Ashton on That ’70s Show.
Over the weekend, a rumor on Twitter spread that Nancy Sullivan and Jonathan Goldstein — the parents on Nickelodeon’s Drake & Josh — are married. The rumor was brought up by a the popular Twitter account @RelatableQuote after coming across biographies for the actors.
Since fans clearly wanted to believe that their beloved Walter and Audrey are, in fact, real life husband and wife, they did just that: Believed.
But as MTV pointed out, it’d be pretty weird for a married couple to share their excitement on Instagram after running into each other.
