Jonesborough to host ‘Masters on Main’ golf festival

JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. (WJHL) — The Town of Jonesborough will host its first-ever “Masters on Main” golf festival on April 13.

Several downtown Jonesborough locations will be transformed into golf courses with various events and activities the whole family can enjoy.

The event will feature a retro arcade, golf bowling, island green challenge, golf shuffleboard, golf pong, and chipping. The Masters Golf Tournament will be shown at the International Storytelling Center Plaza.

Jimmy Neil Smith Park will be converted into a 9-hole bucket golf course, Central Christian Church will host a mini golf course and golf darts challenge, Courthouse Square will have golf pool and a hole-in-one challenge and the Christopher Taylor Cabin will have a croquet course setup, the Town of Jonesborough said in a release.

The “Masters on Main” golf festival is scheduled for April 13 from 2 – 7 p.m. across downtown Jonesborough.
