Jennings man killed Saturday in Baton Rouge road-rage incident

BATON ROUGE, La. (KLFY) — A Jennings man was killed Saturday in Baton Rouge in what police are calling a road-rage incident, authorities said.

According to reports by WVLA/BRProud, Jayrick Washington, 18, of Jennings was shot while driving on I-110 near the Fuqua Street exit ramp.

Police said shortly before 1 p.m. Saturday, officers learned two vehicles were reportedly weaving through traffic on North I-10 near Dalrymple Drive. Upon reaching the Fuqua Street exit ramp, shots were fired, causing Washington to crash, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
