"Get up here, dad," said Jason Bateman, announcing his Arrested Development co-star as Jeffrey Tambor as the winner of the SAG for Male Actor in a Comedy Series.

The actor took home the award for his role as Maura Pfefferman in Transparent. Tambor thanked creator Jill Soloway for the "responsibility" of playing Maura and the cast for being the best co-stars he's ever worked with — except Jason Bateman, of course. And then he dedicated the award to transgender people who don't have Maura's privilege.

"I play Maura Pfefferman — she’s very entitled and she has a lot of money," said Tambor. "And I would just like to dedicate this award to the non-Maura Pfeffermans, who don’t have a lot of cash for their operations, for their medicine, for their freedom. Thank you very much."
