Jason Aldean Is Selling Sprawling Tennessee Estate in Favor of Building His "Dream Home"

Jason Aldean and his wife, Brittany, are dreamin’ big. The country couple recently put their Tennessee mansion on the market for $7.86 million in hopes of building their own “dream home” from scratch. Their present home, which spans an impressive 8,900 square feet, features six bedrooms and eight full and one half bathroom, and was built in 2008. The rustic-style home is two stories tall, with a charming walkway up to the main entrance, flanked on either side by well-manicured lawns and a number of colorful flower beds and green bushes. Once inside, the home opens onto a double-height-ceilinged living room with a cozy stone fireplace and finished wood floors. A formal dining area is located just off the living room, with ample room for festive get-togethers and enough intimacy for a nice family meal. Just off the dining room is the kitchen, which centers around a large wooden island with a wood-block top and features a steel double oven and gas range, both offset by more wooden cabinets, drawers, and display shelves, giving off the feel of a rustic cabin in the woods. A wide, wooden spiral staircase leads off the main living area to the second floor, curving around a tall, cylindrical aquarium. Also found on the ground floor: a den and a library, both boasting Aldean’s many awards and accolades.

The master bedroom is also located downstairs, and has its own stone fireplace and a set of large floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors that lead directly out onto a spacious porch that features a swing for two and even a contained fire pit ideal for sunset cocktails. The master bathroom has a deep-soaking tub, two vanities, and a separate glass-enclosed steam shower. Upstairs, the other five bedrooms are scattered throughout the space, with six bathrooms between them. Other impressive features include an in-law quarters, a 10,000-square-foot horse facility, a detached bowling alley, and an outdoor entertainment and pool area. The area surrounding the estate offers views of Flat Creek and is a perfect combination of woods and pasture.

“And so our new journey begins,” Brittany shared with fans via Instagram on July 11 [https://www.instagram.com/p/BlGlTPNAdGa/?utm_source=ig_embed], captioning a photo of a dirt road leading to a cleared lot. “We’ve decided to build our dream home in Tennessee. Looking at the land it’s hard not to envision a place where our babies will run, laugh and play with each other for so many years to come.… I can hardly wait to hear those little feet running down the halls.” The couple are already parents to 9-month-old son Memphis.
