Jamestown Rescue Squad responds to report of person stuck in elevator

Apr. 24—JAMESTOWN — The Jamestown Rescue Squad responded to a report of an individual stuck in an elevator Wednesday, April 24, in southwest Jamestown, according to Lt. Sheldon Mohr.

Three units responded to 803 20th St. SW at about 8:45 a.m. Wednesday. Twenty-two firefighters were also on standby or at the scene.

Mohr said an individual was stuck in an elevator. He said the override was used to lower the elevator car to the main floor.

No injuries were reported. The Jamestown Rescue Squad was on scene for about 10 minutes.
