Jamestown man charged with killing 16-month-old child

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Jamestown man remains in custody after being charged with second-degree manslaughter in connection with the death of a child, according to police.

Jamestown officials say 25-year-old Matthew E. Nuttall caused the death of a 16-month-old child through blunt force trauma on April 13. Police were notified on April 15 and Nuttall was taken into custody on April 17.

Nuttall was charged with second-degree manslaughter. He remains held at the Chautauqua County Jail on $500,000 cash bail.
