Interstate 49 accident in Rogers cleared

UPDATE: The accident has been cleared.

ROGERS, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — An accident on Interstate 49 in Rogers is causing slowdowns, according to IDriveArkansas.

The accident is affecting the left and center lanes of I-49 southbound near Exit 82.

Multiple fire trucks are blocking the left and center lanes and traffic has moved to the shoulder and right lane.

IDriveArkansas says there are possible injuries.

Lucid Motors slashes 400 jobs ahead of crucial SUV launch
Lucid Motors is laying off about 400 employees, or roughly 6% of its workforce, as part of a restructuring ahead of the launch of its first electric SUV later this year.
