Inmates build bicycles for students in Santa Rosa

NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Inmates at a Guadalupe County prison lent a hand to a nearby community. The inmates put together more than 100 bicycles for students in Santa Rosa. It took only a few hours to get them all assembled.

Bison moved from Yellowstone to Taos Pueblo

Funding for the bikes came from the Outdoor Equity Fund. The state corrections secretary says programs like this show how impactful rehabilitation can be.
