Ingham County fire departments respond to barn fire

UPDATE: The 6 News team on scene reports the fire appears to be contained, with few visible flames left. The team reports there are hot spots left to douse for firefighters. They also report that some of the responding agencies appear to be leaving the scene.

UPDATE: Rachel Ramsey reports sent the following update from the scene of the fire.

“I see Some sort of structure fire on Every Road. I can see city of Mason fire and NIESA. At least 7 or 8 fire trucks and a a couple ambulances. I spoke with EMT who said as far as they know everyone is safe,” she reports.

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Multiple fire departments are fighting a large fire in rural Ingham County.

A two-story barn was reported on fire in the 1800 block of Every Rd. Multiple departments have been deployed.
