Indiana police arrest man wanted for murder in Okfuskee County

KOKOMO, Ind. (KFOR) — On Wednesday morning, Indiana police arrested a 31-year-old man wanted out of Okfuskee County for charges including first-degree murder.

At around 10 a.m. on Wednesday, the Kokomo Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence in Howard County, Indiana, to locate 31-year-old Demarcus Williams.

Williams was wanted out of Okfuskee County on counts of first degree murder, conspiracy, and robbery with a dangerous weapon.

After Kokomo Police converged on the home, Williams surrendered without incident and was taken to the Howard County Criminal Justice Center.

The Kokomo Police was assisted by the FBI Safe Streets Task Force, U.S. Marshals Service, and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations.
