Illinois man shocked by power line sent to the hospital


WASHINGTON PARK, Ill. – First responders were called to check on a man shocked by a live electric line while on top of a utility pole a around 8 a.m. The incident occurred at Kingshighway on Hill Avenue. He was not an electrical worker.

Bommarito Automotive Group Sky Fox helicopter captured footage of the rescue. The man, who was still breathing at the time of rescue, was taken to a St. Louis area hospital for treatment. As of now, there has been no update on his condition. Further details will be provided as they become available.
