Illini watch party announced at State Farm Center

That will change on Thursday. The DIA announced that it will be showing the two games that night on the videoboard of State Farm Center, with fans invited to attend. The Illini women will kick things off at 6:30 against Tulsa in the WBIT quarterfinal, followed by the men at around 9 p.m. in the Sweet 16 against Iowa State.

The party will be free to attend, and fans of all ages are encouraged to come and show their support for the Illini. Doors open at 6 p.m.

The DIA said concessions will be available with dinner options and alcoholic drink specials like $5 Twisted Tea, $3 Icon beer, $6 margaritas and pink lemonades and $8 Bud Lights. The first 350 fans will get a free hot dog courtesy of Illinois Student Affairs.

Representatives from Cola-Cola and the streaming service Max will be on hand for giveaways, taste testings and a photo booth, the DIA added. During halftimes and in between games, fans will have a chance to compete in knockout, 3-point shooting and trivia and win prizes.
