Idina Menzel Announces Engagement to Actor Aaron Lohr: "We Are So Happy"

Congratulations are in order for Idina Menzel! The singer and Broadway sensation took to social media today to announce that she is engaged to her boyfriend Aaron Lohr.
"What an incredible week. Thank you to everyone for all your support with the album," the Frozen star Tweeted earlier today. "As if this week couldn't get any better I have wonderful news... my man and I are engaged! We are so happy. It's a beautiful time." The exciting announcement comes on the same day as the release of Menzel's new self-titled album, Idina, and no other details about the proposal or her ring have been revealed.
Menzel and Lohr have kept their relationship extremely private over the past few years, and made their first red carpet appearance together at the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner in Washington, D.C., back in April 2015. They met while starring in the 2005 film adaptation of Rent.

The 45-year-old Tony Award winner was previously married to fellow Broadway star Taye Diggs from 2003 until 2013. They share a 7-year-old son named Walker Nathaniel.
