Since figure skating premiered at the 1908 Olympics, it’s been one of the most popular sports at the games. Generally a niche sport with not much of a following, people become intense fans with encyclopedic knowledge of Salchows, Axels, Loops, and Lutzes. The catchy music, daring moves, choreographed routines, and glitzy costumes.

And while the competitors make it all looks so effortless, skaters not only train intensely but also meticulously plan their looks. Many of the costumes are custom-made for the skater and designed to catch the eye, with embellishments like sequins, Swarovski crystals, mesh, and more.
