Ice Cream Tacos Are a Thing at McDonald's Now
You might want to book a flight to Italy because McDonald’s Italia is serving an ice cream taco right this minute. It’s basically their version of your favorite ice cream truck pick, the Choco Toco. Sure, flying to Italy for McDonald’s may seem kind of ridiculous, but it’s for an ice cream taco and love knows no distance.
As Thrillist points out, McDonald’s is actually calling the ice cream taco a "Sundae Pocket," and it’s made by putting vanilla soft serve, fudge, and hazelnuts into a waffle.
My only question here is why doesn’t McDonald’s in the United States have cool dessert treats happening? In late September McDonald’s Japan released pumpkin spice and chocolate fries and now McDonald’s Italy has ice cream tacos. Where is the love?
