IBEW electricians volunteer to repair St. Louis-area homes

PINE LAWN, Mo. – Electricians volunteered to repair homes Saturday morning for people in need around the St. Louis area.

The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers dispersed union members to 15 homes all over the region, including homes in Pine Lawn.

The day began with breakfast at the IBEW Union Hall before workers got their assignments for the day. The union aims to help community members who are low-income, elderly, or disabled.

After Saturday’s service, IBEW has helped with repairs for more than 600 homes in the St. Louis area over the last 21 years.
