Hyundai, CPD hosting free anti-theft upgrade event at Guaranteed Rate Field

CHICAGO — Hyundai and the Chicago Police Department are teaming up to host a three-day event beginning Friday to upgrade eligible Hyundai vehicles with the latest anti-theft software.

It takes place Friday to Sunday in Lot G at Guaranteed Rate Field.

No appointment is needed. The event runs from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday.

Technicians will be on-site to install and complete the software upgrade, which should take less than 30 minutes, according to Hyundai.

All attending Hyundai owners will receive a no-cost steering wheel lock.
