Hundreds gather for St. Olaf’s Fun Fest Weekend in Eau Claire

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – A fun weekend that is also a decades long tradition wrapped up at St. Olaf’s in Eau Claire Sunday.

The Fun Fest features many activities ranging from a car show, games, a cake walk, a silent auction and even live music.

Pulled pork dinners were also sold as part of the fundraiser for the church.

Fun Fest started in the 1990′s and is still quite popular, the co-chairs of the event say hundreds came out this weekend.

For Mary and Tom Behling its an event all about the community.

“It’s a fundraiser for the church, but also our focus is to get everybody together and having fun. Getting together with the community,” said Mary.

“It’s always a festival. Beautiful weather. People like to get out and visit,” said Tom.

Mary and Tom said the St. Olaf Fun Fest is held the Sunday before Memorial Day Weekend.
