The Hottest Zayn Malik Lookalike Ever is Famous AF
Last year, while aimlessly scrolling through Netflix looking for a new show to binge-watch, I happened upon a Turkish series called Calikusu (Love Bird in English). I didn't know what to think when I pressed play. I mostly thought that I'd probably get sick of reading subtitles after one episode. But that didn't happen.
I ended up binging the whole series in a ridiculously short amount of time, egged on in part because the main actor in the show, Burak Özçivit, looks a lot like an older version of Zayn Malik. But also because the show was just genuinely amazing. When I was done watching, I proceeded to become obsessed with Turkish series.
Not only is every episode like a movie (they're literally like two hours long so Netflix has to chop them up into 40+ minute pieces), but the way they portray love on screen is absolutely amazing. While sometimes you feel lucky if you get a swift longing glance between your OTP in an episode, one glance could last, like, 45 seconds straight in a Turkish serial. No joke. You won't know what an OTP is until you see how the Turkish do OTPs. TRUST ME.
So, fast forward a year, and, by God, I've got another Turkish Zayn lookalike to introduce to you: Burak Deniz.
