It was recently revealed that Frankie has been sexually abused by JJ, causing her to lash out while bottling up her feelings.

The story takes another turn next week when JJ issues Frankie with a threat to stay silent.

In the lead-up to the discovery, JJ feels abandoned when Darren rushes off to Morgan's nursery instead of accompanying him to physio.

Later, at home, JJ heads to Frankie's bedroom. Feeling scared, Frankie lashes out at her brother, who screams out.

While everyone rallies around an injured JJ, Nancy Osborne is determined to get to the bottom of what is bothering her stepdaughter. She later sees the teen dancing in the school hall. Realising this could be a good outlet for Frankie, Nancy gives Frankie some dance clothes and suggests she join the dance squad with Leah and Vicky.

Meanwhile, JJ lies to his mum that he found a note from Frankie saying she wants to destroy his career. The manipulation works, and Suzanne Ashworth feels angry at her daughter, Frankie.

Later, JJ walks in as the dance session ends. When alone with Frankie, he demands she get his phone from his pocket. He then grabs her arm, but when she flinches, JJ makes the big discovery: His sister has been self-harming because of what he has done to her.

He threatens Frankie to keep quiet.

The threat works – after Darren, Suzanne, JJ and Nancy attend a safeguarding meeting with Carter about the self-harming, Frankie blames Darren.

Will she ever be able to open up about her heartbreaking secret?
