Holland police: Man accused of stabbing stepfather

HOLLAND, Mich. (WOOD) — Police say a man has been arrested after allegedly stabbing his stepfather Tuesday in Holland.

It happened around 2:45 a.m. at an apartment on Beacon Light Circle, located near the intersection of E 16th Street and Quarterline Road, according to the Holland Department of Public Safety.

Responding officers found the adult stepson outside the building, then found the stepfather inside. The stepfather, who had a stab wound in his abdomen, told police that his stepson had stabbed him, according to the department of public safety.

Police say the stepson was arrested and jailed. His name was not released Tuesday.

The stepfather was taken to the hospital to be treated.
