Holiday Fire threatens structures in Rosamond

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A brush fire in Rosamond warranted a brief evacuation warning Saturday afternoon.

The Holiday Fire in Rosamond has burned 398 acres on May 25, according to Cal Fire. A level 2 evacuation warning for zone KRN-153-A has been lifted as of 7:22 p.m. The fire began around 2:21 p.m.

Multiple units are responding so expect slight traffic delays in the area.

It is unclear as to what caused this fire, and officials are currently on scene investigating.
