Hillary Clinton Tweets About Flynn's Resignation

During her presidential campaign, the social media team behind Hillary Clinton's Twitter account kept the fire tweets coming pretty much whenever the opportunity presented itself. And, following the election, Hillary appears to be keeping that sass going: when Trump's National Security Advisor Mike Flynn resigned late Monday night, after reports he had misled Vice President Mike Pence about his contact with Russia and, in particular, the Trump administration's positions on sanctions put in place by then-President Obama, Hillary had no qualms about dragging him through the mud (with class, of course).

First, Philippe Reines, who worked with Hillary when she was Secretary of State, tweeted this out:

The "What goes around COMETS around" comment refers to both Flynn and his son sharing a completely false conspiracy theory that claimed Clinton used the pizzeria Comet Ping Pong in Washington, D.C. as a front for a global pedophilia ring that includes satanic rituals. The conspiracy theory, known as #pizzagate, inspired a man to walk into a Comet Ping Pong pizzeria in December and fire shots - an incident he described as an attempt to "self-investigate" the theory.

Flynn and his son perpetuated the theory by tweeting out fake news with a "just because we don't have any evidence doesn't mean it's not true" mentality.

And Hillary is not here for that, tweeting about the very real consequences of fake news while also linking to Reines' tweet, which you may have noticed includes the link to the careers site of Domino's pizza. I normally prefer my stuffed crust pizza to be under rather than overbaked, but this is a delicious burn:

We are so here for this sass.

Oh, and it's also worth remembering this video of Flynn speaking at the last year's Republican National Convention. Because, huh:
