Colts' Vontae Davis, Mike Adams Play Taps to Pick Off Ryan Fitzpatrick
The Indianapolis Colts' offense didn't do much against the New York Jets on Monday Night Football match-up. However, the Indy defense did their best to contain the Gang Green attack, led by Eric Decker who caught eight passes for 97 yards and a touchdown in the first half.
Midway through the second quarter, Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick lobbed a pass down the sideline to Brandon Marshall. But, Fitzpatrick picked the wrong cornerback to try that on. The Colts' Vontae Davis was able to tip the ball away from Marshall and into the hands of Mike Adams, who was not only able to secure the pigskin but he also kept both feet inbounds to give possession back to Indianapolis.
