Highland Heights shooting leaves 1 injured, 1 detained

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man was injured in a shooting in Highland Heights Thursday evening, Memphis Police say.

Officers responded to a shooting on Powell Avenue near Baltic Street at 7:09 p.m.

Police say a man went to the hospital in critical condition. Officers reportedly have another man detained on the scene.
