Step aside, dude who proposed to his girlfriend using hidden messages in 3 years' worth of love letters. The internet's got a new favorite proposal - brought to you by Doritos.

One woman - props to her for going against gender norms -went the extra mile to make her marriage proposal one for the books. Amanda Mussio planned an elaborate romantic setup for her boyfriend at a recent Vancouver Canucks game. With a little help from the couple's favorite team (and Doritos!), Mussio popped the big question to her boyfriend Brandon Haubrich.

According to NHL.com, Mussio's plan began with Haubrich being "randomly" (AKA, not so randomly) chosen to participate in the Canucks' "Puck Shuffle" game for a mystery prize. Little did he know the "mystery prize" was a brand-new fiancée.

As shown in the brief clip shared by the team's official Twitter, the Canucks fan chose Puck #3, which revealed the words "Will you marry me?" He clearly didn't understand the meaning behind what he was seeing - at least until he turned around and his girlfriend was down on one knee, bouquet of ketchup-flavored Dorito-roses in her arms, asking for his hand in marriage. He said yes (duh).

Haubrich's surprise wasn't feigned - he wasn't expecting the proposal at all. "I had no idea," he told NHL.com. "I was very shocked and surprised. I'm still taking some time to catch my breath. I knew we were coming to the game, but I had no idea anything like this was going to happen." Mussio, for her part, was nervous, but pleased that her husband-to-be "was a little bit more excited than [she] expected him to be." Of course he was! Nothing says "I love you" like a bouquet of your favorite snack.

And, in case you were wondering, Doritos Ketchup Roses are a real thing available in Canada.
