Here's how to keep track of the latest power outages across Wisconsin

We Energies is reporting that more than 4,000 Milwaukee-area customers are without power as of Wednesday morning after storms tracked across southeast Wisconsin last night. There are also 289 separate outages across Wisconsin as of 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, according to the utility's outage map.

Other utility providers in Wisconsin show that about 30,000 residents are without power as of 8:30 a.m. across the state. You can find information about outages in Wisconsin on the Wisconsin Public Service, Madison Electric and Gas and Alliant Energy outages maps.

How to report a power outage:

During an outage, stay at least 25 feet away from downed power lines and assume they are energized. We Energies advises customers to report downed power lines to them or local law enforcement.

To report a power outage you can contact We Energies at 800-662-4797 or report an outage on the We Energies app. The company cannot accept text messages or emails for outages or emergencies.
