Hayley Kiyoko Opens Up About Her Love Story With Becca Tilley

In Hayley Kiyoko's Bachelorette-esque music video for her single “For the Girls,” Becca Tilley plays a starring role. At the very end of the drama-filled clip, the former Bachelor contestant emerges from the car and she and Hayley share a sweet exchange.
On the same day that Hayley dropped her music video, Becca took to Instagram to “ hard launch” their relationship, sharing the cutest Reel of their moments together. Hayley also shared a post about their romance, announcing that she and Becca have been together for four years.
“This photo is from the first night we met at my Expectations album release party, we took this picture after 5 minutes. Her shirt said ‘no time for romance’…..it’s been 4 years,” the singer wrote. “I guess she had some time 🤷♀️”
We couldn’t be happier for these two, and now, in her cover story interview with Teen Vogue, Hayley is opening up about their love story and how important it was to have Becca in her “For the Girls” music video.
“It is one thing to discover your authentic truth, but to share it takes a lot of courage as we all know,” Hayley shared with the outlet. “[Becca] has had to navigate a lot of hardship in her journey, and I've been honored to be by her side through it all. It is not my place to speak for her, but it does feel amazing to get to share the love I have for her with the rest of the world.”
Although Hayley and Becca have now gone public with their love, we learned back in May that pop icon Taylor Swift was actually the first to know about their relationship. During an episode of her Scrubbing In with Becca Tilley & Tanya Rad podcast, Becca spilled the deets.
“The first person who found out outside of my family and friends in a weird way... was Taylor Swift,” she said. “Hayley went on stage with her in Boston, and after the show, I got to meet Taylor in her dressing room… It felt like talking to a friend.”
