There were a lot of guests at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding on Saturday, so it was easy to have missed some of the particularly poignant ones. Namely: Mutsu Potsane, an 18-year-old orphan from Lesotho in southern Africa who Prince Harry befriended when he travelled to the country back in 2004.

Aged just 19, Prince Harry visited the Commonwealth country Lesotho during his gap year trip. He particularly bonded with Mutsu, aged just four at the time, planting a peach tree together in the grounds of the Mants'ase childrens home where Mutsu lived.

Two years later, Prince Harry returned to the country to set up the charity Sentebale - which means 'Forget me not', in memory of his mother Princess Diana - along with his friend, Prince Seeiso of Lesotho. While he was there, he reunited with Mutsu (pictured above and below).

The charity was established to help the most vulnerable children in Lesotho and Botswana, of which Mutsu was one.

Harry saw Mutsu once again when the teenager visited London in 2015 to sing as part of the Basotho Youth Choir at the Sentebale Concert at Kensington Palace, which Coldplay healined. You can see by Prince Harry's warm response to Mutsu just how happy he was to be reunited with his old friend.

So it comes as no surprise that Mutsu was invited to Prince Harry's wedding to Meghan Markle, which took place on Saturday 19 May. Mutsu was there as one of ten representatives of Sentebale invited to Windsor Castle, in a moving gesture from the now-Duke of Sussex that shows just how genuine he is.

We're sure this won't be the last time Harry and Mutsu's paths cross.
