HARRIS COUNTY, Ga. (WRBL) — The Harris County School District is starting two hours later than normal on Friday morning.

The school district says the two-hour delay is due to severe weather, localized flooding and downed trees. This delay allows personnel to assess road and weather conditions after the sun has risen.

Buses will pick up students two hours later than typically scheduled. District staff will also report two hours later.
