KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Thursday is March 14th, and that represents “Pi,” or 3.14.

Math enthusiasts around the world celebrate Pi Day on Thursday, which is March 14 or 3/14, the first three digits of an infinite number with many uses.

Many people celebrate this day by having a slice of pie, whether it be sweet, savory, or even a pizza pie, all over the world.

Simply put, pi is a mathematical constant that expresses the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter.
