Hampton ceremony held to honor servicemembers ahead of Memorial Day

HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — The Hampton VA Medical System held a Memorial Day ceremony on Thursday to honor those who sacrificed their lives for the country, a release states.

The ceremony included keynote speakers such as local veterans and community leaders. There was moment of silence, a laying of wreaths by the Hampton VAMC Nursing Honor Guard, and the Kecoughtan Honor Guard participated in the post of Colors.
