Guns, cash stolen from Wilkes-Barre home

WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police are investigating a burglary where guns and cash were stolen from a Wilkes-Barre home.

According to the Wilkes-Barre City Police, on Wednesday around 3:00 a.m. officers were called to Moyallen Street for a reported burglary.

Once arriving on the scene, police said between 11:30 p.m. Tuesday and 1:45 a.m. Wednesday an unknown suspect had entered a 26-year-old woman’s home. The suspect allegedly stole two guns and cash from the victim.

The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
