Easter weekend brings loads of outdoor, spring fun – with egg hunts, bunnies and more. Plan ahead for upcoming events including the solar eclipse and Monster Jam. Spring & Sprout is 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. March 29 at TCMU-Greenville. See the Easter bunny or snuggle a few in the petting zoo. Discover the wonders of bees, create eco-friendly art projects, and embark on a nature-inspired scavenger hunt. For tickets, visit tcmupstate.org/greenville/springandsprout.

Bunnyburg is 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. March 30 at TCMU-Spartanburg. Families will receive a bunny trail map to hop their way through the museum, collecting goodies along the way. Snap a photo with the Easter bunny and collect a special egg to take home. Designed for ages 6 and younger. Create springtime crafts including slime, bunny food, and flower bouquets. The Frosty Farmer Winter Market features 45 – 50 vendors from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. March 30, April 6, 20 and 27 under one roof at Think Tank Brew Lab. For details, visit frostyfarmer.com.

Easter activities are March 30 and 31 at Biltmore Estate in Asheville and include an Easter Scavenger Hunt. Discover Easter eggs in the gardens, inside Biltmore House, and in Antler Hill Village. Learn fun facts about the estate and experience its beauty as you search for 25 beautifully decorated eggs. A limited number of Easter Scavenger Hunt treat bags will be distributed from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. each day of the event. Treat bags are for ages 9 and younger. For details, visit biltmore.com.

Open for play – TCMU locations in Greenville and Spartanburg are open 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. April 1. A Kid’s Day Out program drop-off program is 9 a.m. noon at TCMU-Greenville. Registration is required. Visit tcmupstate.org/greenville/kidsdayout.

Tell Me About It Tuesday is at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. April 2 at the Greenville Zoo. Included with admission. For details, visit greenvillezoo.com.

Neighborhood Night is 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. April 4 at the Upcountry History Museum.Drop-in to explore the museum and its changing exhibitions. No registration required. Admission is free. For details, visit upcountryhistory.org.

The Great Fairy Tale Race Story Time Takeover is at 10:30 a.m. and noon April 5 at TCMU-Greenville. Join Greenville Theatre for The Great Fairy Tale Race. In this show, students will meet the Brothers Grimm as they attempt to write more stories than their uppity neighbor, Mother Goose. During the show, students will learn about three of the Grimm Brother’s best stories. Students will become part of the performance, providing their own ideas to each story. A Solar Eclipse Watch Party is 1:30 – 4:30 p.m. April 8 at the Spartanburg Science Center. The watch party is free, but registration is required. Light refreshments are provided. Drop in or stay for the entire time. Bring a towel, blanket or lawn chair to sit outside. An optional boxed dinner (4:30 – 6:30 p.m.) is available for purchase. Eat at the center or take it home.
