Golden Harvest teaming with Postal Service to Stamp Out Hunger

(WJBF) – Golden Harvest Food Bank is collaborating with the National Association of Letter Carriers for their annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.

On Saturday, May 11, letter carriers will be collecting non-perishable food donations for those in need, as they deliver the day’s mail.

All donations will be distributed by Golden Harvest Food Bank, and partner agencies, across their 25-county service area.

“In the battle against hunger, unity is our greatest strength,” said Amy Breitmann, President & CEO, Golden Harvest Food Bank. “Partnering with the NALC through the Stamp Out Hunger food drive each year reaffirms our dedication to our families in need and amplifies our commitment to making sure no one in our community goes hungry.”

The Stamp Out Hunger campaign, has collected over 1.9 billion pounds of food for those in need locally and across the country since 1983.
