“Go for the Gold” fundraiser comes to Applebee’s tonight

N.Y. (WETM) – Athletes from Special Olympics New York and members of local law enforcement will be teaming up tonight to raise funds at Applebee’s locations across the state for its “Go for the Gold” fundraiser.

Both groups will be at Applebee’s on Wednesday, April 17, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. to raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics New York.

Locally, the athletes and law enforcement members will be at the following locations:

Elmira

  • 877 County Road 64

Ithaca

  • 2300 North Triphammer Road

Vestal

  • 3701 Vestal Parkway East

Special Olympics New York serves more than 45,000 athletes across New York by providing sports training, athletic competition and health screenings to its athletes.

All programs are offered at no cost to athletes, their families or caregivers.
