GiGi’s Playhouse and Black Hawk College rock your socks off!

March 21 is World Down Syndrome Day, and GiGi’s Playhouse Quad Cities and Black Hawk College teamed up to Rock Your Socks Off.

The sock hop utilized mismatched and fun socks to celebrate breaking through stereotypes. Organizers say it’s important to understand and celebrate the differences of those with Down syndrome and to recognize their contributions.
