While fans of fashion will have known the name Gigi Hadid for a good year or two now (she is one of Kendall Jenner’s BFFs, after all), the 20-year-old reality star-turned-model has become a global sensation in the last few weeks after being spotted out and about with Zayn Malik.
But whether or not she is the former One Direction singer’s new girlfriend, she most definitely is a model to be reckoned with.
Clearly next season is going to be all about cut-out bodysuits…

All romantic connections aside, Hadid has made waves in the last few months appearing in lauded Balmain x H&M campaign, modelling for a huge variety of designer labels at Fashion Week and most recently walking in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. But it’s her recent Numero magazine cover that we want to shout about.
Hadid is the French fashion mag’s December cover star – and the ultimate Balmain babe. While she rocks the cover solo (pulling a Beyonce-esque pose and holding onto her high ponytail while jutting out a hip), she sidles up to Balmain’s creative director in another of the pics, snapped by Jean-Baptiste Mondino.
Lounging on a velour sofa with Olivier Rousteing, Hadid sizzles in a bodysuit from the French fashion house, featuring sheer panels that flaunt her taut tum.

Another shot shows the leggy model rocking a questionable pair of tiered leather trousers (and presumably some seriously high heels or even a pair of stilts; no one’s legs are *that* long) and a sheer latticed bodysuit. All from Balmain, obvs.
