Sisters, supermodels, and trendsetters Gigi and Bella Hadid rocked colorful streaks in their hair on the runway recently, bringing us all back to the early ’00s. The two sisters wore the trend for the Versace show during Milan Fashion Week. Oh, but they weren’t the only ones. In fact, they were joined by a ton of other models wearing red, yellow, orange, and blue streaks. We’re getting major flashbacks to the hair mascara trend in the early 2000s!

Gigi Hadid rocked yellow streaks…

…while Bella rocked red!

When asked about what inspired Donatella Versace to resurrect the trend, hairstylist Guido told Allure:

“It’s Donatella’s vision of the Versace woman today without any references other than the Versace idea of glamour, sexiness, and street. And colorful hair like this, you see it on the street with girls using hair color really as cosmetics. So it’s really a reflection of what you see women doing today.”

The models were into it, too — and might even recreate the look off the runway. Backstage, Bella told Allure, “I wanna dye my hair red!”

And it looks like Behati Prinsloo kept her red streaks in for the rest of the day.

It sounds like it’s just about time for this trend to come back! TBH, we’re kinda into it.
