General Mills honors APS worker with her own Wheaties box
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – An employee working at Albuquerque Public Schools received a rare honor by getting her face on a box of Wheaties. Sandra Kemp, Executive Director of Food and Nutrition Service at APS, was named a Trayblazer by General Mills.
New Mexico looking for summer reading instructors
The award is given to people who go above and beyond to feed kids in their community. The cereal company recognized Kemp for overseeing a team that 77,000 meals a day to kids in New Mexico.
