Rejoice, Geordie Shore fans! Gaz Beadle has finally returned to the house of fun– and better than that, he's got a huge announcement to share with everyone.

(No, it's not that he's leaving. Again.)

As Gaz gathered his Geordie family round the table to deliver his mysterious news, his co-stars were getting seriously tense about what it might be.

"Gary looks very worried and it's making me very nervous. I've got a lump in my throat," Nathan tells the camera in tonight's (September 12) episode.

Not afraid of building the tension, Gary admits that he's "not sure" how his mates will take his news, drawing out the big reveal for as long as humanly possible.

"It's been quite a hard decision..." he muses to the group, before Chloe interjects: "Spit it out Gary, this isn't the f**king X Factor."

After hours (OK, minutes) of waiting, Gary finally reveals: "But... now I am single."

Yes, that's it! The news we've all been waiting for. Not only is Gaz back in the Geordie Shore fold once more, he's going to be enjoying the single life once again.

"I am back and I am single, things just didn't really work out between us but I am buzzing that I am back with my Geordie family," he admitted.

Although Gaz might now be off the hook with girlfriend duties, he might have to curb his booze and kebab habit when his baby arrives. (Or not, of course.)

Gaz and his on-off girlfriend Emma McVey announced the happy news that they were expecting back in August. Congrats, guys!

Meanwhile, it's worth pointing that Geordie Shore's Marnie Simpson sort of predicted Gaz's return. "You can't really be in Geordie Shore – it's not fair on Emma," she told Gary previously.

Commenting that it's hard to be in a relationship outside of the series, she added: "I understand why he'd leave."

Geordie Shore continues tonight (September 12) on MTV at 10pm.
