James Corden and Ruth Jones enjoyed a Gavin & Stacey reunion at the Variety Club Showbusiness Awards.
The two actors attended the event last night (April 28), where Corden received the Variety Club Silver Heart Award 2024 for Outstanding Global Achievements in Broadcasting, Acting and Comedy.
Corden and Jones, who co-created Gavin & Stacey and played Neil 'Smithy' Smith and Nessa Jenkins on the show, have been close friends for years and posed for pictures together on the red carpet.

The two stars treated fans to a Christmas special back in 2019, leaving things on a cliffhanger involving their characters Smithy and Nessa.
There have been rumours that Corden and Jones are penning another festive episode to air at the end of this year.
However, in February, Jones denied the reports. "Apparently there is a bidding war going on between the BBC and Netflix," she said. "And I love it because it says 'a source says'. You know, who is this source? Where does this stuff come from?
"All I can say is if there was something to say on that front, James and I would happily announce it."

Star Rob Brydon also addressed the speculation, saying: "As far as I'm aware – I sound like a politician! – it's another rumour.
"I don't know, I'd love it if it was true."
Gavin & Stacey series 1-3 are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
