Gas will be 40 cents cheaper at Circle K on Thursday. Here's what to know

Tired of paying more at the pump? Circle K is giving you a window of savings.

The convenience store and gas station chain is holding a nationwide Circle K Fuel Day between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time Thursday, during which customers will get up to 40 cents off each gallon of gas they purchase. The promotion is also meant to celebrate Memorial Day, so 10% of profits during that time will be donated to the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation, according to a news release from the chain.

Circle K is also offering any size Polar Pop or Froster for 79 cents all summer long, according to the chain's release.

Dozens of Circle Ks in Austin are participating in the Fuel Day promotion. More than 5,500 Circle K locations around the country are also expected to participate.
